We have over 10 absolutely amazing dive spots in the Walkerbay area. Join us on an unique diving eperience off the coast of Southern Africa. Some of the coral and fish species you will see, are unique to the Southern Coast of Africa and won’t be found anywhere else in the world.

Preekstoel | 8m to 15m

Preekstoel dive spot has a flattish ledge at about 8m and has a small wall that drops to around 15m deep. On this dive you will find numerous colourful species of hard and soft coral, there are a variety of wall sponges and barrel sponges. Being in Cape waters, you will see crayfish, abalone, kelp and the odd seals keeping you company.

Blowhole | 9m to 12m

Diving in Hermanus you will see big boulders of smooth rock with big sand patches in between. Kelp will be a popular sight around this divesite as well as crayfish, nudibranchs as well as the Long snout pipefish. Klipfish will be a very popular sight and will be a great photo opportunity on the reefs.

Rietfontein | 10m to 17m

On Rietfontein/Tamatiebank you do see some beautiful basket starfish. This is a very popular dive site among the diving community in Hermanus. Tamatiebank is known for seeing nudibranchs and gully sharks. Bring your camera and prepare to be amazed.

Dreun Krans Ending | 10m to 15m

If treasure finding sounds good to you…then thtis is the divesite for you! Many students/kids jump from this 25m high cliff and do not realize the power of the ocean….on the sandy bottom you can sometimes find GOPROS, Necklaces and even the occasional ring or two. Some beautiful kelp surrounds this area and makes for a very nice tranquil dive.

Fick's Pool Shallows | 3m to 10m

Ficks pool is known for its clear water and its very unique atmosphere when diving through the kelp, there are beautiful rock formations and loads of anemones along the rocks as you make your way through the amphitheatre into the Hermanus Ocean…

Boiling Pot | 6m to 15m

Boiling pot got the name originally from the rough waters that constantly breaks over these rocks…alas this is where the diver wants to be while watching countless seals and schools of fish come past. This dive spot is usually very rough and requires some technique to no damage any coral.

Table Top/The Finger | 9m to 20m/40m

Diving in canyons seems very attractive…with sea stars and mussels all over the ocean floor, the dive ends on top of the finger that’s stands out like a massive pinnacle that has massive sea sponges and big schools of fish surrounding it. You will encounter some species such as the puffadder shy shark, nudibranchs and some long snout pipefish.

Haksteen | 10m to 17m

This reef is made up from beautiful wall sponges to a massive amount of red bait growing on this reef. This dive site will bring you sights of rocksucker, crayfish and some big clusters of mussels. This dive is for advanced divers as the water is usually fairly unclear and it can get some underwater currents.

Canyons | 15m to 25m

An extensive reef that is filled with cuttlefish, lobster, sea fans and large groups of cold water coral. A large variety of sponges are all over the walls and the odd octopus can be seen in a few of the canyon walls.
