Basic to Advanced Courses
Start with your basic Scuba Dive course and work your way up to an Advanced Open Water course. All course materials are available online, no need to buy any handbooks. Courses start from as little as R850
Introduction to Scuba Diving – R250
The Introduction to Scuba program is your introduction to the underwater world. This entry-level program gives you the opportunity to experience the underwater world, in a confined water setting.
Scuba Diver Course – R2500
This program is for students who do not have the time to complete the Open Water Diver program, and provides you with the training and experience required to dive in open water environments under the supervision of a dive professional. You will earn the SSI Scuba Diver certification, which can be upgraded to the SSI Open Water Diver certification with additional training.
Open Water Diver Course – R6400
This globally-recognized certification program is the best way to begin your life-long adventure as a certified scuba diver. Personalized training is combined with in-water practice sessions to ensure you have the skills and experience required to become truly comfortable underwater. You will earn the SSI Open Water Diver certification.
Advanced Adventurer Diver Course – R6800
This program allows you to experience five different open water dives from five SSI Specialty programs without requiring you to complete the entire Specialty. If you are unsure of your next step, this is the perfect way to advance your dive skills and experience, and to identify which Specialty programs interest you. You will earn the SSI Advanced Adventurer certification after completing this program.
Attention: The Advanced Adventurer certification is not counted towards the AOWD Recognition. To achieve one or more specialty certification(s) for the AOWD, you may decide to complete one or more of these specialties. Your dives from the Advanced Adventurer course will of course be counted.
Rescue Diver & EFR Course – R7500
This program was designed to give you a comprehensive resque qualification that includes First Aid & Basic Life Support (EFR) combined with an O2 provider and Hazardous Marine Life course. This course will give you the nescesary knowledge and skills needed to manage risks and to effectively handle limited in-water problems and diving emergencies.
You will be able to recognise and manage stress in other divers, rescue panicked divers and resque unresponsive divers both on the surface and at depth. You will gain increased comfort and confidence by understanding how to recognise and prevent stress in other divers.
Refresher Course – R850
A Scuba Skills Update provides you with the opportunity to review and practice necessary scuba skills that you learned in your original Open Water Diver program under the guidance of an SSI Dive Professional. The Scuba Skills Update is often a required for continuing your diving training after a long period of time away from the sport. You will be issued an SSI Scuba Skills Update recognition card.
